My car

Nothing beats having reliable transportation especially for myself. Bought this car literally after my old Altima died on the dealer's lot. Indeed, some ways God was shining down on me....I really needed a new set of wheels.

Moving up in the world

Yes ladies and gents....I finally bought an IPOD but decided on something quite basic because let's face it I am not going to be glued to it 24/7. Just need it for the gym. So I bought a refurbished Apple IPOD shuffle for roughly $29.00. YES, $29.00 and right now downloaded 31 songs. Can hold up to 12 hours. Frankly WHY would I need more than that at the moment? I am usually at the gym for about an hour. Now I have even further motivation to stick with it and burn calories at a higher rate. I don't care for the generic music blaring from the speakers at the fitness center. Now that I have my own taste of music to drum to I will exercise quite happily. :^)

Excitement of reviewing new homes

With this being a buyer's paradise I have been checking out homes within my price range here in St. Louis and the county (however this little shopper would stick with a fixed interest rate).

It is amazing what you can get for your $$$$....I mean especially where I live many homes have been on the market for more than six months. I have seen signs foretelling of the sellers' woes with prices reduced. I am salivating at the thought of getting into one myself.

Typical Friday Night

Am I getting old or what????? I feel like my head is spinning as to what to do. Much like the lovely confusion of this sign I took a picture of at the Science Center.

Was debating going to Borders to just sit, enjoy the ambiance, have some coffee and watch the cuties while reading a book but man...after being up since 4am, working, getting my car fixed and then renewing my Missouri driver's license I am pooped. Watching St. Elmo's Fire and it harkens me back to the 80's when I was a kid and then joined the army. Is it me or did kids seem more innocent back then?? I know every generation thinks theirs was the most naive.
