Weddings

I'll never understand the tension and disharmony when it comes to planning a wedding....as my brother's special day draws near I can already see fraying around the edges with my dear family.

I would think (and hope) a happy occasion like this one should be received with grace, humor, and utmost civility...but at times people do some really crazy things as the impending date draws near.

Perhaps there is far too much focus on the details of getting the wedding "just right" and not enough upon what this blessed occasion is all about...forget for just a moment the flowers, the dresses, the groomsmen, bridesmaids and instead see the day as what it is mean to be:

A glorious union of two souls joined as one for the journey of a lifetime.
