Turn the page...

This morning I heard Bob Seger's Turn the Page and began to think about the path my own life is taking....the goals I have set....and this part got to me:

"Out there in the spotlight your a million miles away,

Every ounce of energy, you try and give away,

As the sweat pours out your body like the music that you play.

Later in the evening as you lie awake in bed..."

First time I heard that song was back in 1987, stationed in South Korea when a group of us would roll in from the field and hit the vil' having a few. I loved going to the field, for one I knocked off a slew of days from my short-timer's calander and well, made you appreciate the more simple things in life when you're stuck out in the woods for a spell.
