Veteran's Day

I am watching a special about military bloggers stationed in Iraq...how the war is being told in real time. You see the stark reality of this war in these soldiers' eyes....you see their hearts and you want to comfort them, bring them all home...the title of the episode is "Band of Bloggers." Kind of like a political twist to Band of Brothers another series shown on the History Channel. Every soldier has their story...every one feels the pain of loss, guilt, fear, coupled with a unity of brotherhood, camaraderie sometimes found no where else but in the military and especially during trying times like these:

Explore the impact of blogging as a new medium for immediate and raw information. In the midst of modern day combat examine the unfiltered and raw evolution of military blogs and bloggers. Listen as soldiers who during their recent Iraq deployments reflect on the important connection they had with their blogging and how the band of military bloggers has revolutionized the way we understand combat. Experience firsthand, unfiltered accounts of the pain, the hardship, and even the simple beauty found in Iraq; stories that often go unseen in the media's coverage of the war.
