Floating down the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers

I practically floated all the way to work today taking I170. Rain rain and more rain. On the positive side my car is getting a good wash...free of charge.

With the flooding we have already had here especially in the Fenton area and places like Popular Bluff which is more south I wonder if this will let up??? (According to our forecast not anytime soon):
Flash Flood Watch for the southern half of the viewing area...including Phelps, Dent, Iron, Madison, Crawford, Washington, Jefferson, St. Francois, Reynolds and Ste. Genevieve counties in Missouri and Bond, Clinton, Washington, St. Clair, Monroe, Randolph, Perry, Jefferson, Fayette and Marion counties in Illinois from late Wednesday night through Friday Morning...
Tonight: Increasing clouds with the chance for showers and thunderstorms especially south of I-70 after midnight. Lows in the low to mid 40s.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with periods of showers and thunderstorms likely. (Can I hang myself now?) Highs in the mid 50s.
Friday: Showers ending early, then slow clearing. (Hallelujah maybe a good chance for a decent weekend). Highs in the mid 50s.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. (Crap) Highs in the mid 60s.
Sunday: Partly sunny (sun what is the sun?) with the chance for showers by evening (double crap)... mid to upper 60s.
Monday: Partly sunny with evening showers possible (ah well...)... mid 60s.Monday: Partly cloudy. Highs near 60.
Can always count on May to bring beautiful flowers.
