It was an honor and privilege participating in this important event in our State. Visiting with our State leaders left an importnat message that Hispanics are part of the economy, the communities across Missouri and the issues which impact us impact everyone. Solutions and a united state for the people by the people who are elected to serve the people need to take positive action to increase the successful outcomes of the citizens of this great midwest state. If it happens to one it happens to all of us. Everyone wants legislation that follows the constitution of the United States of America. Our governor and other state leaders were presented with the issues well known to them and look for their leadership to serve all citizens of this great nation.

I wanted to attend this but could not due to finances. But I am hoping to become more active within my community and adopted state. Being a US citizen also means being active within one's community.

I strongly believe in not just talking rhetoric but to actively participate and as I move forward with my own future I hope to help those in need of brighter ones.
